xflow bolt
AndyGT - 20/1/11 at 10:10 PM

I know this sounds weird, but I need the earth bolt from a xflow engine.
Anyone got one? It is only about 1cm long (the bolt!!!)

Thanks in advance
Andy

I didn't use it on my x-flow installation - it was easier to fix the earth strap under a gearbox bolt.

If you really need one, it will probably be UNC thread.

Drill it out and tap it to the next size metric thread up. I did this to the poxy M7 studs on the renault engine, and replaced them all for the cheaper, more readily available M8.

wanted to keep things complete and I went and lost the bolt. normally I put all the bolts back where they came out of to find them easier at a later date. as thanks for the advice. I'll bear it in mind...

As David say's use a bell housing bolt fot the earth, that's how mine is connected.
