Broken pinto pulleys - grr!
Bobbyball - 3/2/11 at 02:49 PM

Hi all!

I'm a brand new user to this excellent forum, having ended up with a Robin Hood to play with.
My pal recommended you as being a super helpful and friendly lot (certainly looks that way too!)

Soo, straight in...

I have a plea for help - does anyone have a crank pulley for a 1.6 pinto please? (PLEASE?!!)

I've just broken mine, and won't be able to use the car until a replacement is found

Of course, I'll offer some beer tokens to anyone who could magic one up for me, along with p+p, and my eternal gratitude!

Now just to sit back and hope someone can help!

Thanks Locostbuilders!!!

Google Robin Hood owners, you will get best advice on there and less abuse

Been a while since ive had a pinto apart. From memory the toothed pulley (timing belt) is seperate to the auxilliary pulley (for water pump and alternator). I assume its the latter you need.

I have a full set of pulleys; cam, crank and oil/dizzy shaft for a 1.6 Pinto - in fact they're still on it.

You're welcome to all or any of them for the cost of a beer and postage.

U2U if I can help - if you're quick I might even be able to post them tomorrow.
