Can anybody tell me if the clutch release arm from a Type 9, is the same as the arm from a single casting 4 speed from an escort?

I have a 4 speed box, but have managed to lose the release arm.

In answer to my own question - they are different arms. (Boo)

OTOH i now have a shiny type nine bolted in, Yay.
