The one that looks like an edis, Look for the 1.1~1.3 fiesta's and escorts before 1990.. Sierra 1.8 had a dis ignition system aswell. Differant to above but would do the same job.

They are a little hard to find now as all the banger racers where running them. Five years ago I could buy one for a few quid, rewire it and flog it on ebay for £40 plus.

these are only on cars with carb's

the ECU does its job on the EFI cars (with or without the help of a dizzy or an EDIS4 depending on the age)

Just out of curiosity what this the unit called, it's only a small black thing mounted on an ally plate with an pointless dissyand are they worth anything.
