Longish story, but I am putting a zetec in a spitfire (before anyone asks, car not plane ) after destroying my last one. I am actually just about done with the welding etc and soon to start assembly, so need to get a load of stuff.
One of the things I need is a fuel pump. I have acquired a Dunnell/jenvey setup, that comes with its own pressure regulator. Can't seem to find what pressure though, may actually try a phonecall. However, I bought off h ebay a very nice freelander intank fuel pump. What I didn't realise is that it comes with its own pressure regulator, which I have seem somewhere is 3.5bar. It may not be enough.
The freelander pump will be a good fit in my tank, which is why I bought it, but unless I can bypass the inbuilt regulator (doubtful) I need a different pump. Must have built in swirlpot and in tank.
Any bright ideas?? Not sure which direction to go. Not a desperate rush but I don't want it to hold me up later
And anybody after a genuine freelander fuel pump (or know how to disable the regulator without destroying the pump)

fiat bravo or coupe the (older ones) have a nice pump similar to the freelander one without the regulator plus there is an off the shelf walbro 255lph uprated pump available if you plan to run big hp.

downside is things are often a different size to what you expect (the freelander one is huge, but the dimensions are correct.....)
