what sort of fuel filters?

got an underwhelming response from a similar question last nite, so deleted it and try again 
cars going in for fuel lines hopefully this week. for something like this i don't want to do it myself, since i've never done it before, so
its going in to see a guy who hires vans, does al the mechanics in his garage, and races formula fords. he knows a thing or two.
i want plastic fuel lines (nylon? is that whats used?) as used in modern cars. seems better than metal, and rubber hose
need advice on fuel filters. its a carb set up, but how many filters should i use? one after the tank, and one before the carbs?
how flexible is plastic fuel pipe? does it just push over the unions on the pump? or do i still need rubber hose?

as you know i have the same carbs as you.
I have a plastic inline filter before the pump then 8mm copper pipe to the front of the car then another inline plastic filter then to the carbs
i change the filters once a year.
The copper pipe is easy to bend

the outlet to my tank is 8mm, my pump is 8mm in and 10mm out, and the carbs are 10mm. so i thought these might work?
is the inlet to your carbs 8mm? or 10mm like mine?
the reasin i'm going more towards plastic is because the fuel line, battery cable and exhaust all have to go in the tunnel. everything will be
independantly wrapped in heat sleeving wrap etc, but i'd also be worried about the copper fracturing from vibrations and stuff

In your link i use the large one's there cheap as chips but have worked for me for the last 4 or 5 years i change them every year for new
one's.
My carbs have a 10mm inlet pipe.
A little tip to convert from 8 to 10mm pipe i use a air line pipe adapter 8mm out the filter short 8mm pipe adapter 10mm pipe to carbs
