What output at wheels/flywheel is the norm for race series Locost 1300? Going on rolling road tomorrow because seems so down on power but need to know what to aim for - or whether to bother. Many thanks.

Don't know what figure to expect but you probably won't get the best out of the engine without setting it up on a rolling road

Thanks - but didn't mean not bother with the rolling road, rather not to try and obtain outputs through mere setting up that my particular engine couldn't hope for!

The rolling road man should be able to work out settings which will give any particular engine the best power it is capable of giving. If you tell him what you are using it for and that you want it to give it's best power then he should work towards that.
