Hi
I have recently changed my mt75 to a type 9 mated to a zetec , I've used the lrs707 starter but I have a problem , I can start the engine but after a few minutes of driving the starter starts to whizz and even if I stop and cut the ignition it still whizzes ??? Do I need a different starter ?? Is the lrs 707 a different throw meaning it's connecting with the wheel ???

Do you have the shim plate fitted between the engine and gearbox ?
