just looking at another engine idea, and was thinking the swift gti engine. i know the old vitara gear boxes fit to these and then they have their transfer box that sends the power down to the wheels.

can anyone tell me, if i had a prob made to avoid the transfer box, could i use this set up?

Which suzuki 4 wheel drive are you talking about.

i know the sj boxes only have the one out put for a prop, but i was thinking the early vitara box as the gear ratios allow for higher speeds?

so prob the 1.6 vitara box up to about 97?
