i think the flywheel is differnt you will need a maunal one

gavin174 - 9/5/11 at 05:15 PM

of course.. didnt think of that..

torque converter and all..

but what about engine internals..

big_wasa - 9/5/11 at 05:19 PM

As far as I know internals are all the same, ecu map is the differance. The Crank Position Sensor Housing is differant and will need swaping over.

Hi,

I have the housing from a silvertop which you're welcome to. I'm not sure if its the same as the blacktop one though.

I wouldn't bother with ford, its bound be out of stock and cost a fortune

even if L5W's ones no good there should be loads of manual blacktops in the scrapyards and I can't see them charging much for one of them

(ps - do you fancy pick up a speed sensor for my focus while your there )

Its only one bolt to remove it BUT thats after you have removed the gearbox and flywheel.
