It only lasted about 4 days, but i have an oil leek from the rear of my xflow so i will need to take the engine out
to repair said problem

Its a xflow and keeping them oil tight is a hit and miss situation.
Just make sure you tighten up the flywheel again ........

what a bugger! i take it its the rear crank seal

i think so, its most certainly the back of the engine
but im going to give it a good pressure wash tomorrow, to make sure

Make sure you have the right oil in. The crank seal might be depending on something in the oil to keep it swollen and oil tight.

(For example a crank seal leak on my xflow re-sealed itself when I changed the oil back to a mineral 20W50 grade.
I'd taken the engine out and thoroughly cleaned the clutch a couple of times before I thought clearly about it. The new engine was fine when running in, but it started leaking some time after I changed the oil for a synthetic 10W40. With a decent mineral 20W50 it's fine.)

If that doesn't do it for you then the rear rubber (arched) part of the sump gasket would be my prime suspect. Is it located properly?
