Hi has anyone fitted the 2ltr zetec blacktop head onto a 1.8ltr zetec blacktop? I want to see if i can fit one of these http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts/part_details.asp?PartKeyField=6012
I would ask the yanks but they never had the 1.8 zetec blacktop.

No. it doesnt fit due to combustion chamber shape.

The 1800 has a bore soze of 80.6mm and 2000 has a bore size of 84.8mm, i ran a 1800 head on a 2L block to raise the compression as it induced a squish ring around the combustion chamber. The larger head would leave you witha mushroom shaped chamber.

So in a word 'No'
