I have a car with a Type 9 box and quaife internals.

Now I know it runs a remote selector, which I am hazarding a guess that maybe the problem, but when pushing on, changing from 2nd to 3rd results in a miss (gear doesn't engage). This can also happen with 4th to 5th.

The car is new to me (250bhp YB NA'ed Westfield), so it may just be the fact that I need to be more precise, or if there is another way I can tweak the remote shifter, that'd be cool.

Alternatively, it could be the box on the way out.

Anyone shed some light?
