Buying an oil catch tank for a silvertop zetec

There seems to be two types of catch tank one with an air filter and one without. My thinking is if i connect the cam cover outlet and the crankcase both into a catch tank there is no way of releasing gases. If i get one with an air filter this would be safest. What do people recomend?

Why do you need a catch tank? My breather goes into the air filter, but never seen much coming out of it.

I run a one litre Mocal one, as Stu says, i never get anything out of it bar moisture.

I've got a 1 L obp tank. Three in/out puts.

It will need to be vented to atmosphere some where, I have a 1 litre tank fitted with two tappings, you could tee the cam cover breather and crank case together to one connection and then fit a small breather filter to the other, will try post picture later

I use a red bull can with the breather pipe stuck in it. As you have dual breathers you could use two red bull cans or a red bull can and a coke can or.....

I like your thinking....cheap but sort of cool.
Maybe then fit an air filter to the cam cover and the crank case to a redbull can!
