Take a look at Burtons Tuning guide
http://www.burtonpower.com/tuning-guides.html

Here shows you a picture of all ther ford gearbox's
Doubt it will be a MT 74

Probably a type 2 or type 3

A type 2 does not have a detachable bell housing

But the type 3 has and is about a inch or so longet to the gear change position

Meant MT75 sorry

thanks

had a quick look at that ,
it is a 5 speed, so that rules out type 2,3,4,5

had a look under the car there is a large bell housing.

How many gears does it have ?
If it has 5 it'll either be (bar any exotics) a type9 or an MT75.
On the type9 reverse is next to 1st gear, on the MT75 it's on the opposite side.

Probably a type 9 then
