At our last race meeting the chap from Caterham plugged in his lappy to check engine parameters, it picked up an issue with the TPS which we sorted.
THe software basically monitored all the sensor values real time and flagged if anything was out of range.
Has any one got a clue what he software is, it didn't seem to be ford branded.
Also what lead/module do you need to connect to a laptop it didn't seem like the OBD connectors I have used before.

Sounds like OBD2 stuff but without a bit more info it's hard to tell.

software will depend on the brand of ecu. I doubt it will be ford. It could also be a stand alone data logger.
