I think my gearbox might have broken. I was driving the other day and just a crack noise from the gearbox after which I could not get 1st gear anymore.
Does this mean I need another gearbox or just my first gear tooth snapped?If so is it an easy job to replace?

i would think it would be cheaper, more reliable and quicker to just replace the box(assuming you have not any type of failure in your linkage)

Ideal time to upgrade to something like a High first gear using a kit or box from BGH, Burtons etc
