Hi,

My mate is looking at building one, he has a xr3 reliant and wants to do 2.0 bottom end on his cvh head, I'm sure you can but anyone done it and what stuff would we need?

Thanks

he may as well go full zetec, we have recently done this to an RS turbo 2 litre zetec with turbo 269 BHP before the plugs melted so run was holted

There's a guy in the quantum owners club who has done this and has done a really good write up.

Good luck

did this on our avon a few years ago, fairly simple really but like all things a few small challenges along the way, we also used the quantum link for reference, to be honest it was an interesting excercise but unless your going turbo your better off with a zetec.

Waste of time, the worst parts of the CVH were the head and valve gear.

he is not after power, just a little more grunt, and to save the hassle with changing inlet and exhast setups,

i belive full zetec is also better but not for the mopney and the use the car gets in this instance,
