Fuel Filler Pipe
alistairolsen - 12/9/11 at 03:49 PM

I need to join a 45mm fuel filler to a 38mm stub on a tank and will need a 90 degree bend, a 45 degree bend and a short length of straight pipe.

Does anyone know where to buy fuel resistant hose bends?

Cheers

or whether silicon hose is ok with fuel?

Fluro (or something like that) silicone hose is made for oil and fuel

For IVA, you will need a letter from the manufacturer stating that what you use is ok for fuel.

I think CBS sell bendy fuel pipe - rather expensive tho

I've had silicone joining my filler for a couple of years and is still fine.
