Do you need to modify the blacktop dipstick when using a scholar sump?

yep. they'll provide you with a shorter one as part of the kit.

I phoned them today to ask and they weren't sure. I didn't get one with mine

Confused now just rang them again and spoke to some one different who said that you use the standard dipstick
