I have won a diff on Ebay (not sure if buying it was a good idea or not yet), anyway I am stuck with it once it arrives.

I want to give it a clean up and a once over before using it.

Cleaning up I can cope with, anything to look for during my inspection?

I'll be checking for broken teeth, eaas of of movement, etc.

For clean up the plan is to degress the casing and give it a spray.
