Does anyone know if you can get a side entery cap for a ford motorcraft xflow distributor.
I'm running a old rally 1390 xflow on twin 40's with very little clearence for a conventional cap. I've see a old motorcraft dizzy for sale but need to know if you can get the side entery cap. I know Lucas do one but can't find a cheap one for sale at the moment.

Basically no. You need the lucas distributor from the lotus twin cam or the pre xflow 1200/1500. Then you can fit a side entry cap.

I've never seen one in 45 years in the motor trade. Can you use HT leads with right angled connectors or maybe even Megajolt?
