How have people mount there fuel tanks? Mine is mounted on 4 rubber exhaust bobbins. However it looks like the thread has sheared of on two of the bobbins where they are screwed in to rivnuts. Was thinking of adding two new rails under the tank and using two straps that go over the top of the tank resting the tank on rubber.

Is the bottom of the tank just on a rubber strip secured at each end or do you have a peace of metal then a strip of rubber to cushion the tank?
