does anyone have experience with one of these sytec compotion adjustable fuel pressure regulator and fuel filters as my current regulator is holding back performance so when I get my new fuel rail made I want to order a new regulator and filter I am going to be using a facet red top works pump the car is powerd by a 220hp rover k series engine which will undergo some fairly serious modifications within the next few months

I wouldn't bother with an adjustable regulator, work out the pressure you need to get your injector to flow enough and go fixed rate; http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorsport/fuel-pressure-regulators/alpha-fuel-pressure-regulator

I had advice from two different tuning companies to ditch the adjustable one as they don't keep a constant rate.

£70+ for a filter! that's madness, guessing the anodising makes up 60% of the price, try this SYTEC FUEL INJECTION PUMP PRE FILTER 909 044 COSWORTH | eBay, same quality less than 1/3rd the price.

trouble is because i intendo to upgrade the engine in stages i wont know the exact presure im going to need i know im at about 3 bar and i think thats what was casing the power loss on the old car but cant gaurentee it wasnt the pump the regulator was in the way with the throtle bodies anyway is my new facet works spec fuel pump going to be any good as i was told on another forum its for carbs only

Try these guys, they are cheaper (who isn't) than demon tweeks. I've got a fse AIR007 on mine with a gauge, it works perfectly and holds pressure steady. As far as i can see FSE and sytec are the same thing but with the sytec you are paying more for the anodised finish and a slightly different designed adjustment screw. Are you in a rush for one? Once my iva is done in 2 weeks time if it passes i will probably be taking it off again as i won't need it anymore.
