CVH Turbo (RST) cooling system plumbing
pmc_3 - 28/12/12 at 11:42 PM

I'm trying to get my head round where everything will connect to on the cooling system and could do with some help

Right so far I figure, largest outlet on the thermostat housing to the top hose on radiator. Water pump to bottom hose of rad and bottom outlet of header tank tee'd in to this. The small outlet on the top of the thermostat housing to the top pipe on header tank?

I then have remaining the other outlet on themostat housing which would presumably go to the heater matrix but I am not going to run a heater. The small outlet on the side of the rad and this pipe on the inlet side which I presume is to do with cold start. Where do these need plumbing too?

Help appreciated and don't worry more bracing will be done on the chassis including a new bulkhead and a transmission tunnel

I believe there is also a connection to the turbo's oil cooler if I recall correctly, what ignition and fueling are you using if its the standard my nephew has a chipped ecu from a series 2 RST

Its a series 1 engine and they didn't run the turbo water cooled on these. I'm using the standard fueling and ignition including the metering unit. As its a series 1 engine the management is different but thanks for the offer.
