Expansion cap pressure help :)

Can anyone help me with what bar expansion cap I should be using ?
My cap is leaking and need to replace but unsure what car expansion cap is from so not sure what cap bar I need to order


Any ideas ???

the current cap should have its rating marked, in psi or bar.
try turning any rubber seal over to see if that helps.

I believe it should be 13psi on an expansion cap. It is on my 4AGE

Although I put one that says 23 lbs (2 bar??) or something, I was told afterwards that I should have kept the original rating, which for the SR20DET was something like 15 lbs (approximately 1 bar).

It is not that critical limiting factors are what pressure the rad will withstand and thermostat and fan temperatures.

Most rad these days run at around 1.4 bar (20 psi) The VW Polo runs a 2 bar (29psi) cap
