Dear collective brain,
before I go splashing the cash around in Halfords....does anyone know the size of the
Torx bolt on the induction side in an 1800 Zetec block.
Thanks
Cheap and cheerful solution.
Ive had a set of these for years, only ever broke one trying to do sierra driveshaft bolts.

I have found the Halfords pro' Torx sockets to be utter rubbish, they just keep breaking. I would (and have) gone elsewhere for decent Torx drive now. Off as all the other Halfords pro' tools are great.
B&Q sell fairly decent quality 3/8" sets at a decent price I have been using them for years and never had one break or slip, I even
occasionally use them for normal hex Allen button head screws without trouble.
In addition Siverline or Bergen brands are also generally fine and very good value --- Bergen can be found at very good prices on eBay or Amazon.
Thanks chaps
Can't help with bolt sizes, but having been servicing VAG cars for a few years I can recommend (as above) the purchase of decent drivers/bits as
tools. The crap/cheap ones are prone to shearing off leaving a piece in the hole, which I have had to remove using a kids magnet
