I have attached the zetec to a type 9 box but cannot get the starting motor to fit as it catches on the sump, should i be useing the escort sump?

Does it touch the actual sump or the fins on the side. I believe u have to shave the fins off.. May be wrong though.

i,m using escort sump with sierra dohc starter and about 2mm shaved of sump with grinder everything now fits fine hope this helps
