I need to buy another set of 40,s.
Which version(s) run best on a 2.0l pinto

45's

yes ok but are you saying there isnt a 40 version which is suitable

mookaloid - 8/8/05 at 01:37 PM

Ok, it is quite feasable to use 40's on a relatively mild tune but if you want say 140+ BHP then 45 's are a better bet.

If you want to stay below this level for now but might wish to do a spot more tunng in the future then 45's will do the job now and also in the future.

45's are also a better investment and will be worth more when you sell them to upgrade to fuel injection

Actually I think I have said this before but If I was in your position now I would probably go for bike carbs (R1) or straight for Fuel injection using some big bike Throttle bodies and Megasquirt.

A 2 litre really is best on 45s.

DCOE 45 152s are the ones to use.
