Engine Help Please.

Hi,

I am new an already in need of some help.

I am planning a Kit Car project of about 10 cars in total, but I will start with 1 to see if I can get it to work.

Here in South Africa we don’t have that many enthusiasts, and I have not found any body that can help me up to date.

Here are my problems:

1 I am in need of Suzuki Hayabusa engines, one to start with, and then hopefully a lot more will be needed.

2 The engines will be transversally mounted over the rear axle, so it would be a mid engine car.

3 The car must have a reverse gear, or electric reverse motor.

4 The car will need a differential with CV style side shafts to transfer the power to the wheels (No chains and Sporckets)

Any help will be appreciated.

wouldn't it be easier to mount the engine north/south and attach the output shaft directly to a car type diff?

Other wise I would have though you'll have to have a chain and sproket somewhere or a custom transfer box ££££££

Just my thoughts!

I see that Fisher Sports Cars UK have a model called the “Menace” that uses the same setup, so if any one knows if they have a bolt-on conversion or similar, please let me know.
