Having trouble with alternator, I have got a Pinto with a standard book chassis, the alternator that I have at present is a pug 106. I was wondering if anyone has the dimensions for the Daihatsu Charade alternator and any idea where I can get one???

im afrais i dont have any dimensions but i fitted a Micra alternator on my Pinto and used a Mac#1 custom bracket. It worked a treat. You just need to be mindful of engine and steering rod position - mac#1 chassis allow engine to sit further back hence using their custom bracket.

I'm using a Landrover Series 3 alternator. Its a Lucas unit and quite small. They are also cheap, £28 for a brand new unit.
