I am looking into buying a MK Indy with a 1998 918cc fireblade engine in it that has done 12000 miles in the bike and 1000 miles since being fitted.
I plan to use the car for road use and maybe 1 or 2 trackdays a year.
The car was previously fitted with another blade engine that seized with a oil pressure problem. The new engine has done 1000 miles in the car with
no problems so far.
I have been told a sump baffle and tulip would sort this problem out (is this still required as the engine has done 1000 miles and is running ok?).
Where is the best place to buy this and is there anywhere in Scotland where i can get this fitted and for how much ( i do not know if i would have the
ability to do this myself)
Also is there anything else required to sort this problem as i do not want to buy it for the engine to blow up on me!!
Other than that the car looks in great nick and is within my price range (£6000).
Any help appreciated.
Search for colibriman and phone him.
He has a Scottish supplier that does this very part. Im very sure he will be able to help.
