Exhaust Lambda blanking bolt

Anyone know where I can get an exhaust lambda blanking bolt from? I lost mine at Rockingham so need to sort a new one out before venturing back out again.

Can you not weld any old bolt in ?

Or would you like it removable? or is it stainless?

an labda device is an performace wise an good thing....

i would stick it on always...

with labda at 0,9 you have maximum performance! and MCU of an car tunes for labda = 1
but for racing performance we will need 0,8/0,9 but if you take away your labda
sensor doesn't your mcu go in safe mode?

or am i untherstanding that's an auxilary test/tune hole in your escape??

Tks

I took it as he never had one, just the hole

I think it was here that I got Lamda sensor sized nuts to weld onto my manifold, so they may have the bolts, ............does a spark plug fit in an emergency?

Yes i think the thread is m18, same as some spark plugs.

Chris,

Try sticking a spark plug from a car in the boss. If you want flames, just hook it up to a 12v supply and switch!!

Failing that, I've probably got a spare lambda sensor you can stick in for a while if you want.

Stephen

PS can you ask Rhodri if he's lost a pair of waterproof trousers? If he has, they're still rolling around in the boot of the tintop.

yep, pinto plugs are the right thread

If you decide on a bolt to blank the boss, you'll need a M18 x 1.5 bolt and not a standard ISO M18 bolt.

Cheers all, yep its the blanking bolt I need (manifold has the boss welded in). A spark plug is the backup plan but it kinda looks rather daft hanging out a beautifully tig welded manifold!
Cheers ketchup, would be most appreciated and will forward relevent beer tokens

Steve, will ask him, knowing Rhodri the answer will probably be yes!
