Vx Engine age?
Northy - 27/1/03 at 09:16 PM

Does anyone know a way of getting documentary evidence of engine age for a Vauxhall engine?

All I have is the engine number and registration of the car

Thanks

I work with Vauxhall so I will find out what you need and let you know.

Engine number and reg number should be enough. What are they?

Send a U2U if you want to keep it from everyone else.

Another search, another old post....

Can I get proof from just the engine no? I only ask as the car the engine came out of was a conversion, not the original car and hadn't had the engine no. changed at the dvla..

Is there a vauxhall tech support line, like there is at ford?

Ned.

Ned, I managed to get a letter from Vauxhall (like you can from Ford), but they charge you! I should have the info at work if you want it.

Cheers

thanks,

Ned.

I have a vauxhall program that allows you too search for the engine number, and it'll give you info on it... Not sure what it'll bring up.

Drop us your engine number and i'll look for you... anyone !

Ok, i lied... it looks up the VIN plate... you have to have that, before I can search for the engine number
