Had a thought today
a whole one!
Provided you could make a suitable inlet manifold is there any reason why you coudn't fir 2 Weber 32/36 DGV (or similar) carbs to a Pinto?
I realise you'd have to overcome things like fuelling, throttle linkages, balancing the set-up etc. But would it work in priciple and would you
get the benefit of a multi carb set-up?
What do you think?
You can if you want. Or you could find an original Ford Motorsport GP1 inlet manifold and stick two IDA downdrafts on instead.

Seem to recall that a rare few of the rs 2000's had twin idf's i think they were.
So perhaps this is what your looking for.
I have a DGVon my engine already and have just aquired nother one - was thinking I could make something unusual by fitting 2 to one engine.
Probably better to sell both and put the cash towards a set of sidedraughts I suppose.
Cheers
