hi all can you answer some questions please.
what sort of height are these motors will it need sump mod
what bhp standard will twin 40s benefit or not.
will i have to change clutch or anything to go on type9 previous eng xflow.
dont suppose manifold will fit

yes you will need a sump mod

bhp standard is about 135 i think.

you will need something to run the spark, as these engines do not have a distributor

forget the twin 40's go megasquirt+bike throttle bodies or similar.

Twin 40s will give a good respectable amount of power if you don't like electronic gizzmos. On a 2.0 blacktop, I've seen figures of 160+ quoted, but should realistically easily achieve 145+
