Hi all Im fitting ZX9 R carbs to my Pinto engine What are peoples view's on the air filter fitment. Would it be better to fit a box with a remote
filter or a sponge air filter, I would prefer to fit a box with a remote filter instead of cutting a big hole in my bonnet. Cheers Jacko
Jacko,
Triton, AKA Mark, does airboxes. Not 100% sure if he does them for your application though. Might be worth sending him a U2U.
Phil
Thanks Phil i would just like to now which is best to use box or filter

Foam filter can cause mixture problems when in direct airflow! No 1 cylinder gets more air than no 4, with 2 & 3 somewhere in between!
Remote mount a filter as low down as possible to get cool air!
