Chaps, a thread a while back pointed out that if you have an L,P,PP, R, or RR cast adjacent to the no 4 plug 'ole on your pinto head, it'll run good on regular gas (Elwood:"is this the new Blues mobile or what??" Jake: "Fix the cigarette lighter"...).

Mine says "P8".

Presumably this one falls into hte P category??

It's most likely RR or PP not stamped very well. Mine's just got a | in that space which could be anything.
