
In trying to mount the 4 AGE engine in a book chassis, the clutch fork hits tube H before the shifter can clear the first tube joining g to h on the transmission tunnel. Choices move H further to the right, use an internal hydraulic actuated clutch release bearing, or move the engine further forward and make a remote shifter. Any suggestions of which is best.

My "book" chassis has been shortened almost 3" in the cockpit. I did not have to alter H nor did I have to build a remote shifter. I
did bend the hell out of the (shortened) shifter.
Don't mind the corrosion on the aluminum - bought from a scrap yard and will be wet sanded eventually.

Another local guy built a book frame with a 4AGE and had to fabricate a remote shifter. The result was sloppy, but do-able.
