Gun Hill in Stratford St Mary isn't too bad - carry on from the pub we know so well, up the hill.

Only down-side is, they don't let you take the stuff off yourself.

what do you mean by complete ? If its the locking cable with knob, Landrover series 3 are very good price from Paddock on the net. £9.99 not including vat

David

Is that the breakers you can see as you travel north bound on the A12 as you start the drop down to stratford st mary?

Ayoungman thanks for that link i will phone and order one.

I have left it this late for the choke cable because i was told by Vulcan engineering that with twin 45's i would not need a choke, but with this cold weather and 20/50 oil the engine drains the battery before i can fire it up.

many thanks

That's the one - open Mon - Fri all day, Sat am only. Past the pub in Stratford, up the twisty hill, over the brow then it's 100 yds further up, on the left.

Starting problems - mine's the same in this weather. I bought one of those maintenance chargers that you leave connected when not using the car, so it's always at max effort when you need it. They sell those in most decent m/cycle shops.

cheers,

Yes series Land-Rover or Mini or MG or Triumph --- try Rimmer Brothers if stuck

With twin Weber DCOEs Lotus used a normal single cable and cut the outer back, leave the inner long as it runs between the two carbs without an outer. Don't know if you can do this with your carbs. For this set up cable type with the single solid "piano wire" inner is best.
