I am getting an inlet manifold made to mount my R1 carbs to zetec, but i need to know how thick the flange plate should be. Does 6mm seem right.

Unless it's a hard grade ali I'd be tempted to go thicker, 10mm. What say you gents?

I'll 2nd 10mm for ally.

I think Bogg Bros use 6mm , but it does look a little thin............10mm is probably overboard.

dont suppose 10mm will do any harm

I got 12mm ali, its just what i had lying around

12 all the way. 6mm warps like buggery and leaves no room to have the flange milled flat if needs be.

Does anyone have a CAD drawing of this that could be used to profile one?
