make? where to buy? none found in halfrauds that is suitable.

Got some myself just last week from local Halfords

Hylomar - Universal Blue

Says on the tube suitable for use with petrol, gas and other fuels.

Be careful using any sealers that contain silicone if you are running a cat. It can wreck the sensing element in O2 (lamda) sensors.

What sort of gasket?

If its water pump housings and sumps and stuff - I can entirely recommend Wurth products.

dunno 'bout that; all the tubes I looked at said "not suitagble for constant immersion in petrol"

for the petrol tank sender - clues was in the post title?

anyway, got some red stuff, smei-hardening that syas on the bakc for use with petrol.

It had the blue stuff on there before that seems to have gone soft by the petrol.
