just geting started on a build. been offered a escort rs2000 engine with ecu loom etc. what should i pay??? he said make me a offer!!
is this a good power plant to goo in to a 7

the engine is still in the car and has 66k on the clock with full history

Dont pay alot and thats if you really want it THIS IS JUST MY OPINION

The engine is the 16v version of the Dohc engine fitted to latter sierras/Granadas ect.

Its good for 150 bhp and has loads of torque. You will have problems with of the shelf tunning and spares in generall .Its a big engine, and you will find it hard to use the Ford ecu.

All the above can be overcome in true locost fasion but there are many other tried and tested methods out there ie Pinto, Zetec,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
