im using a luego loom to wire up my car. now it never came with a relay pack. i find it strange why they would sell these seperatly as i thought you would need them both?
is there any other way of wiring up my siera stalks or do i have to buy a luego relay pack? if so what do you get for 55quid?

any advice thanks

Rob

You get 2 or 3 relays (Can't remember exactly) plugs & wire. If you hadn't already got the loom I would have told you to steer clear, loom comes completedly unwrapped & is supplied with no connectors at all.

I was exceptionally dissappointed, IMHO not good value at all.

Are realys needed? I would always use relays whever possible as I don't like the idea of all that current passing through the column switches, but in reality it depends on the column stalks you have. Early sierras had much thicker wiring for the column switches whereas in the later cars the column switches were protected via relays and therefore used much tinner gauge wiring.

ye i was not truely happy with it myself, especially the manual and lack of a true wiring diagram. which loom would you recommend as ithought they all came with no connectors.

Individual bulkhead 30A relays are £6 at halfrauds. 5 x 6 = 30 plus a little extra work and you got one for the fan, dip, main, horn and fuel pump.
