Did anyone try to put different engine on escort transmition , whitch one ... can IT be done and how .... or can and how sierra enginetransmision can be linked to escort diff and axel

Yes you can mount different engines (anything up to and including the zetec) up to the escort transmission.

alternatively, you can fit a Sierra 5 speed box and just change the prop shaft connecting it with the escort diff.

so I can bolt on the escort rs2000 on escort gearbox if I understood well , or do I need adaption plate in between...
