Hi all,

I've just found a concentric slave cylinder from a Mondeo on fleabay and I was wondering whether anyone has used one on their car? I was going down the SAAB route, but I can't find one for a reasonable price.

Naa SAAB one Is Cheap - check out the prices for the ARP one ( which started life as a copy of the SAAB one )

I am running a large bore ARP concetric as its the ouly Concentric relaease bearing that fits over BMW input shaft.

I belive its common to run these with type 9 to zetec ( and other ) there was someone offering a conversion Kit it was in PPC mag.

as for using mine it great jsut make sure you don't fall for the same mistake as mee and fit large bore flexi pipe. To ensure that fluid can get bact to Master cylander quick enough.

I was worried about the pipe bore and was assured on here by a few with experience that 3/16" brake pipe would be fine, as would dash 3 aeroquip!!

Went against my better judgement of using 1/4" kunifer and dash 4 aeroquip but went dash 3 as the parts were 1/10 the cost!!

total pipe length is only 8 inches or so so maybe I'll be ok??? (he says hoping!!)

Probably ok with std on the for ford or saab.

I just know mine is having to move a lot fluid its a large bearing. ok moving the bearing out as it has a size 13 behind it and a good leaverage point.

On the way back its upto the springs on the presure plate I suspect in my case this is causing the problem of leathargick release ( proves I should have read the instruction Sheet ).

I used the Mundano one.

Errrr.... with 1/4 pipe.... and a Land Rover flexy.


How can I now call it a sports car with Landy bits on it?

You got it wrong they are not Landrover parts ( they are TVR parts ) sounds a lot better

My 30 year old v8 block is not from a range rover its a de-tuned tvr block
