can i fit before silencer or after, does it matter
I believe they are meant to fasten into the tailpipe, so you can remove them as necessary.
I may have to resort to one or something similar, I got noise tested at teeside sprint @ 108db, I know they are strict at Elvington @ 105 so may not
have to rev the engine as much or fit a db killer or have the silencer repacked.
On my car I have fitted the exhaust restrictor before the silencer, mainly because its bloody hard to fit one in a bend,
, but it definately works,
now down to under 100db. atb Chippy
thanks for that looked at curving it but its steel and it looks like its a nice fit before the silencer.Glad it worked for you did you notice any loss of power?
From what Ive seen, everyone thats fitted these dB killers or similar have suffered significant performance drop off, at the end of the day I really
dont think theres much substitute for a long and large diameter silencer, or two.
