I'm having a few probs with best solutions for routing from the water pump, through the side exit pipes and back to the header tank and
thermostat (using the below design).
I thought instead of using 2 pipes i could cut down on costs and send one pipe back and just branch it into 2 pieces to go to the header tank and the
thermostat. Anyone got any pictures of their success?
Hi Chaz how the Devil are you
, Did all that hard work pay of befor x-mas?
Race line water rail is said by some to be a waste of money but boy will it be easy to connect up.
what about the expansion tank??
Doesnt use one
Yeah i'm doing alright. Got the engine started but as you can see, got a little confused with the cooling. I like your pics on what you've
done, real professional job mate.
Are you sure that raceline waterail is more expensive? With all these silicone hoses i'm buying and the new expansion tank on top of that
i'm sure theres not much difference!
Alas i've started it this way, so i'll end it. Anyone got any pics/ ideas about the single line running aft and splitting into two parts,
one to the thermostat and one to the top of the header tank?
Hi mate - give Mark a call @ MAC#1 motorsports
01142619633
They just done me a complete kit, SAMCO
- for around £160.00 - depending on your exact configuration.
I'm using a header-tank configuration.
I'm not using Raceline water rail - waste of money in my car - as I have enough space not to need it
The boys @ MAC#1 have access to Zetec race teams - so really know their stuff!
Cheers,
Murray
