Weber DCOE Carb Linkages

Hey guys,

Got some DCOE carbs on their way, just been having a look at the linkages for them.

Has anyone used the twin cable linkage? if so what cunning method did you use to attach the cables to your accelerator pedal?

my linkage came with 2 cables and a cunning part to attach to the top of the pedal which enabled it to have 2 cables attached.

Probably still got it around if I have a hunt....U2U me if you need it.

alternatively, I got my linkage from eurocarb in Reading - I'm sure they'll be able to supply one.

Ahh yes, but i have floor mounted pedals. Will probably have to make up a linkage for it I think.

I managed to get a new linkage for £30, but its the dual cable one.

im a bit confused as to how yours are linked . i dont know whether it is just because mine are older but i have just one accelerator cable which picks up both carbs. cheers scott

Jonno you have U2U.

Is it ok to only connect one cable on a twin cable system? Might be able to knock up a single cable adapter actually

Hi Dave,

One that fits to the top of the carbs. Hoping it will fit under the bonnet as the GTS bodywork is higher than std. Sure I have seen other people with top mounted linkages. If it wont fit then I will just have to find a bottom mount linkage or something.

The linkage isnt very tall, about 2".
