Hi all,
Finally got the engine installed today.
I noticed an engine height/bonnet clearance issue as the highpoint of the engine is a large brass bolt head on top of the front carb, this will just
foul the bonnet by about half its height.
Anyone know what these are and if I could replace with a flush fitting grub screw or similar?
In peteff's archive theres a photo:

(Cheers peteff)
Its the large flat brass bolt head on the right hand carb, far side centre of that unit between the mounting holes.
Thanks
Dave
Dave, was thinking of going down this route as well. If i can't get a grubscrew then maybe a cut down bolt with a slot cut in the end.
A question along the same lines, does anyone use the choke?
If not what do people thinks of fitting a screw to permanently hold down the choke valve, allowing the top to be cut off the carbs.
All the best Dan.
